SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Route 22 East is closed in Springfield on Wednesday morning due to a motor vehicle accident with a utility pole down, authorities announce. The crash is located near Autoland. A pair of accidents are slowing traffic this morning along Route 22/322 in Dauphin County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. One of the accidents occurred at about 5:50 a.m. Along the eastbound lanes of Route 22/322 in Reed Township, just east of the Clarks Ferry Bridge, PennDOT said. The second accident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Along the westbound lanes of Route 22/322, just west of Dauphin Borough in Middle Paxton Township, PennDOT said.
